Defining and Using the New “ilities”

The nature of system properties, sometimes called the new “ilities” are discussed, and defined, with particular attention to the differences between the ilities, formalized specification for the ilities, as well as relationships between the ilities. Examples are given including generalized statements about the “ility” of a system, as well as specification statements for requirements definition and verification.
